Ok so it’s here a 3 day weekend, and again here I sit on stinking bed rest, but this time I am actually ON bed rest and listening because I believe it or not you can teach an old dog new tricks. Last week I found out that my youngest kid, ” The Prince” had developed these mad photobomb skills when we got home from our oldests college graduation and he was in every single shot. ( click here to see his wacky acts) such as this –
This is his last week of baseball and I missed his last game thanks to this stupid bedrest and he played 3rd base. He’s not really what you would call a ” mega” athlete. Despite my superior genetics he has his fathers ubber geek DNA to over come but he does have the heart of a lion and he’s always a friends with all the guys.
Today I got an email from the Coach saying that during the year a professional photographer had been on the field a few times and caught some candid shots. They weren’t associated with the league but they were really good and we should go look and order if we liked them.
It wasn’t really hard to spot the “candid” shots of my kid. From the professional photographer
oh surely that was a big play and the next one will be better right?
Can I seriously applaud the Festive Colors photography team for putting these clearly hilarious pictures of my kid up on their website next to all the other kids who were NOT attempting to photobomb?
So just when I am convinced that my goofy kid got his dads DNA to win the Science fair and enough of My DNA to be this stinking goofy I go ahead and click next and look what the people at Festive Colors Photography have on their site ….
You may not see his sky blue eyes shining so bright and those arms that are no longer a little chubby but there was a time when this little Prince was so fragile, such a tiny little preemie we hovered over each strained breath he drew wondering if a personality would or could emerge. How his little lungs would ever carry him about. Now those days are gone and his arms throw the ball so far, his laugh is loud, his smile is as bright and beautiful as his eyes. He holds doors for ladies and tells really bad jokes. His legs carry him fast and one day they will carry him far from home to start a life of his own. Just like his older sister and brother before him. Oh yeah little man you indeed have a personality that this world is so much better for. Thank you for sharing it with us ! Stay silly my love. Happy Summer !
Everyone have an awesome, safe, amazing memorable weekend, and take a page from the Prince, photobomb your hind end’s off and feel free to email them to me !

PEACH OUT
*The pictures above were taken by and belong to Festive Colors photography http://www.festivecolors.com/ I do not personally know them and they did not pay me for this review. However I found awesome pictures of my kid on their website so since I used their water marked pictures of my kid I thought I should give them credit. I made the kid, they made the photos, kind of makes us even. The pictures are awesome too huh?
Great post, and photographer man does good work.
I laughed at the car salesman smile. I used to be a car salesman, for a short stint… None of us ever smiled like that. Not even on payday.
Maybe I was selling the wrong kind of cars?
My Own Private Idaho
He definitely has your charming smile.
Glad you have the King of Photo Bomb to make you happy even if you have to stay in bed.
he’s adorable. And I wonder why. 🙂
xxoo
Gave me goosebumps! (We do have some things in common here, lol.)
BTW, your Prince seems to be full of zing and zest for life! Kinda like how I view his mama… 🙂
Cute kid. 🙂
My twins were preemie too, and I TOTALLY get what you mean about worrying with every breath and wondering if this teeny little thing will ever have a personality. It took 5 months before my daughter showed any signs of normal “babyness” beyond just sleeping, eating, and crying.
Happy weekend!
